Manufacturer Description
General purpose stable optical laser source for laboratory or field TP 250€“1550nm laser Fiber Identification 2kHz generator for use with 2kHz receive probe (RP 400) or with non-invasive optical fiber identifiers Compact pocket size, rugged custom design for field or laboratory
Multilink, Inc. manufacturers a range of easy to use optical laser sources for quick and easy loss or verification testing on optical networks. This stable transmit probe offers a 1550nm laser output wavelength. The TP 250 used with the RP 440 power meter provide loss measurements or 2kHz fiber identification. At the splice location the technician identifies the correct fiber by inserting the fiber directly into the RP 440 or by using the ID 100 noninvasive fiber identifier accessory. powerful 2kHz tone identifier test kit. Power to the unit is via a top mounted ON/OFF pushbutton. Low battery LED indication alerts the user to replace the battery. For extended use ODM offers a factory installed AC power outlet and AC adapter.
